How To Apply For Instant e-PAN Card;
1.) Open the e-filling website of the Income Tax Department. and select option "Instant Pan Through Aadhar".
2.) Click on the Tab "Get New PAN".
3.) Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number and fill captcha and also tick on "I Confirm that" then Click on "Generate Aadhar OTP".
4.) Enter the OTP received on the Aadhar registered mobile number. then click on the "Validate Aadhar OTP and Continue" button once you have agreed to Validate your Aadhar Details with UIDAI.
5.) You will be redirected to the PAN request submission page where you will be required to validate your Aadhaar details and accept the terms and conditions. Click on the "Submit PAN Request" button.
6.) You will be given an acknowledgement number once you have submitted your Aadhar details for validation. You can view the PAN allotment status by entering your Aadhaar number.
How to Check Status /Download e-PAN;
1.) After 10 minutes, again open income tax e-Filling Website. And Click on the "Check Status/Download PAN" button so you will be redirected to the request submission webpage.
2.) Enter your valid Aadhar number and captcha code. Click on the "Submit" icon once you are done.
3.) Validate your request by entering the OTP received on your registered mobile number within the specified time limit. Click on the "Submit" button to proceed to the next page.
4.) You will be redirected to a new page where you can see the status of your PAN allotment and you can download your e-PAN.
Note:- The PDF file containing your PAN is password protected. Use your date of birth in the format ‘DDMMYYYY’ as the password to open the PDF file.
